SCAG (Censorship) meeting, 27 and 28 March 2008

The last meeting of the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General (Censorship), on 27 and 28 March 2008, “noted the arguments for and against the introduction of an R18+ classification for computer games”, and “agreed in principle to undertake a process of community consultation in relation to whether an R18+ classification for computer games should be introduced into the National Classification Scheme (NCS)”.

The Ministers also asked that a discussion paper be prepared, and agreed to consider the results of the public consultation at a future meeting.
