Alex is an experienced digital political and advocacy campaign strategist.

He has provided advice, training, support and guidance to a number of state and national unions, non-government organisations and peak bodies, including international peak union bodies, about campaign websites, and online and social media campaigns. He has also spoken on the topics of online communities, social media and technology at corporate, union and NGO conferences in Australia and New Zealand.

As an online activist for over 15 years, Alex has worked on a range of online campaigns and actions. His content is used on other websites and blogs, with his personal blog being archived by the National Library of Australia. At the time he left the ACTU, the Secure Jobs website was going to be archived by the NLA as a result of his work with the campaign and communications teams.

He is very passionate about online campaigning and is continually looking for new ways to use social media and new technology in campaigns.
