By becoming an EFA member your membership fees help to sustain our work AND you get to directly contribute to the future of the Association and digital rights in Australia as your membership includes:

• full voting rights on major changes to the organisation including voting at the AGM to elect board members.
• ability to nominate for the EFA Board
• ability to participate in working groups and developing programs of activities for the wider community
• invitation to join EFA member only events
• discounts on EFA merchandise and open event

Membership Fees

We are currently working on a pay what you can membership fee model with standard fee being $75. Until we get that up and running, please email secretary (@) efa.org.au and we will manually adjust fees up or down no questions asked. (By the way, did we also say…we need more volunteers and you can register interest here?)

We are welcoming memberships from organisations that share our objectives. Your organisations support is vital for us to make the most of the energy and opportunity that increased interest in the digital rights landscape is providing. 

Your organisation may elect one representative who will have voting rights. Representatives must be registered and approved for conflict of interest purposes prior to voting. 

Please note that EFA is not required to levy GST on membership subscriptions and unfortunately EFA membership subscriptions are not tax-deductible at this stage.
