EFA is teaming up with Electron Workshop and Cryptoparty to bring you a fun and informative meet-up.
Date: Thursday 21st March
Time: 6.30pm to 9.00pm
Venue: Electron Workshop, 31 Arden Street, North Melbourne 3051
Come and join us at the location of the inaugural Cryptoparty, and:
– meet with your Melbourne-based EFA colleagues
– learn about and get involved with EFA’s current projects, including our campaign against the government’s Data Retention proposal
– learn about encryption tools and other practical steps you can take to protect your communications
This event will be open to all comers, but we’re hoping that many of our local EFA members can make it (and that we might gain a new member or two on the night).
Please come along, and bring your laptop and your friends.
This will be the first of a series of events we plan to hold in Melbourne (and other capital cities) throughout the year, to give you, our members, opportunities to get more involved with EFA’s work.
If you’re interested in helping us arrange events in other cities, please contact us.
